Welcome to the Southern Elegance Ballroom Dance studio website! Our mission is to provide dance lessons and evening dance parties to the Northern Alabama community in a safe, welcoming atmosphere at affordable prices. Southern Elegance offers specialized programs to suit beginners through advanced dancers in any style of social partner dance: East Coast Swing, Foxtrot, Hustle, Waltz, Tango, West Coast Swing, Argentine Tango, Rhumba, Mambo, Merengue, Salsa, Nightclub Two Step, Cha Cha, Samba, Quick Step, American and International Style Ballroom Smooth and Latin Dances, Bronze, Silver and Gold level competitions, Viennese Waltz, and the Polka. No partner is necessary!
Learn to Dance

At every Southern Elegance Dance Studio, learning how to dance is always easy and fun! In your very first lesson, you'll learn the basic elements of which all dance patterns are based and within hours, you'll be ready to dance! Don't put it off for another moment - walk into Southern Elegance Dance Studio and dance out!
Our unique teaching method includes regularly scheduled private instruction as well as group lessons and practice lessons.
PRIVATE INSTRUCTION
Private instruction with one or more key teachers gives you the specialized and personalized attention necessary to look and feel great on the dance floor, while developing the ability to lead or follow any partner.
GROUP LESSONS
Group lessons are also a necessary part of private instruction because this is where patterns, technique and style are learned. Equally important, group lessons provide you with the opportunity to meet other students with similar dancing goals.
OUR TEACHERS
Our dance instructors are highly skilled and trained to help you learn. Hailing from around the world, our teachers are actively competing, award-winning professionals and gifted educators. Many of our teachers have degrees in the fine arts and all have passed rigorous exams given by the Imperial Society of the Teachers of Dance and the Fred Astaire Curriculum certification.

It is our privilege to offer you the best in individual and group instruction in Pilates.
